Our Story
Twisted Oaks Barn began with a love story of our own—the love of family. In 2014, our oldest daughter got engaged and dreamed of having a beautiful barn wedding. As we began researching venues and planning for her big day, we quickly realized something: with two daughters, we might eventually be planning two weddings! That’s when an idea began to take shape. Instead of simply finding the perfect venue, why not create one ourselves?
What started as a plan to build a special place for our daughters to celebrate their weddings soon grew into something much bigger. We envisioned a place where couples throughout Southern Oklahoma could gather with the people they love and celebrate one of life’s most important days in a setting that felt welcoming, beautiful, and effortlessly elegant. And so, Twisted Oaks Barn was born. Surrounded by hundreds of beautiful oak trees and the peaceful charm of the Oklahoma countryside, our property provided the perfect setting. Jeff was hands-on throughout the construction of the barn, helping turn our family's vision into the venue you see today.
Because Twisted Oaks Barn began with our own daughters in mind, family has always been at the heart of what we do. We understand just how meaningful a wedding day is—not only for the bride and groom, but for the families and friends who gather to celebrate alongside them. Today, Twisted Oaks Barn blends the warmth and character of the countryside with timeless elegance, giving each couple the freedom to make the space their own. From romantic and refined to simple and intimate, our hope is that every wedding here feels beautiful, personal, and completely yours.
